DC Government Renews Certified Business Enterprise Classification to Language Interpretation and Translation Firm

Language Learning Enterprises, Inc. ((LLE®) receives renewal of Certified Business Enterprises from the District.

Washington, DC (Vocus) June 4, 2009 -- LLE, a leading provider of foreign language interpretation, translation and language testing services to business, government and non-profit organizations around the world, proudly received renewal in the Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) Program from the Washington, DC government. The CBE program recognizes specific DC based organizations that contribute to job creation and city tax base, contributing to the growth and stability of the District’s economy.

“LLE is honored to maintain our position in the Certified Business Enterprise program,” explains Kathleen K. Diamond, President and CEO of LLE. “For nearly 30 years, LLE has been headquarted in Washington, DC, helping federal and local government, along with domestic and international organizations, communicate with individuals who do not speak or understand the English language.”

Diamond founded LLE in 1979 and began providing language instruction to the US government. Since then, the language services firm has expanded their multilingual solutions to include over-the-phone interpretation, document translation, language proficiency testing, and language skills assessment. Diamond acknowledges that the increase in foreign immigration has changed the way both LLE and other organizations provide service to their customers.
