DBLG Announces Release 1.0 of the HITECH Act Survival Guide: an Open Source Law Initiative

Health care providers and facilities face complex challenges in dealing with compliance issues presented by the HITECH Act and its new enforcement regime.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) February 1, 2010 -- The Digital Business Law Group (DBLG) co-authored the HIPAA Survival Guide with Deborah Leyva, RN, BSN, a healthcare and technology thought leader. This rule represents the codification of technology standards into law under the authority of the Act. DBLG expects this trend to continue as enabling technologies mandate a multi disciplinary approach to complex regulatory issues. Release 1.0 addresses the convergence challenge by providing readers with tools that allow them to more effectively attack the learning curve.
