Cyr Family Becomes the Newest Sponsor for Wounded Warrior Project
Date:5/3/2013

San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) May 03, 2013

The Cyr Family Charitable Fund has added the Wounded Warrior Project (WRR) to the lengthy list of not-for-profit charities that are under its sponsorship. Known for their unyielding dedication to help others, Dr. Steven and LeAnn Cyr formed their charitable foundation so they could give back to a world that has been so good to them, but not always so good to others. The Cyrs have a firm commitment to enrich the lives of their fellow brothers and sisters, and inspire those they meet to do the same.

The Wounded Warrior Project’s mission is “to honor and empower wounded warriors”. The organization was formed to raise awareness of the devastating number of service members who are injured while protecting our country and need help from the public. The Wounded Warrior Project has several programs available, including Combat Stress Recovery, Family Support, Physical Health and Wellness, and Peer Support.

Strong supporters of the United States Military, the Cyr Family Charitable Fund feels it’s crucial to publicize imperative charities like the Wounded Warrior Project. The more people who are aware of organizations that aid our soldiers, the more who can offer their assistance through donations, volunteer work, word-of-mouth, and so on. The Wounded Warrior Project stresses that even the simple act of thanking a soldier for his or her service and sacrifice is an act of kindness that goes a long way.

Concerning the choice to sponsor the Wounded Warrior Project, LeAnn Cyr says, "The Lord blessed my family by keeping Steve safe while he was over serving in Iraq.  Now we feel it is our duty to help and support those families and service members who were not as fortunate".

Along with the blessings Mrs. Cyr feels that God gave to her and her husband, the Cyr Family Charitable Foundation chose to sponsor the Wounded Warrior Project because of its remarkable programs, strong ethics, and adamant loyalty to warriors and their families. In giving back, the Cyr family has chosen a charity that helps those who are also giving back. Our courageous soldiers put their lives on the line for each and every one of us, and Dr. Steven and LeAnn Cyr, along with the Wounded Warrior Project, are not letting that go unnoticed.
