Cynosure President and CEO Michael Davin Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year(R) 2008 Award Winner in New England

WESTFORD, Mass., June 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cynosure, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYNO), a leading developer and manufacturer of a broad array of light-based aesthetic treatment systems, today announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Davin received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) 2008 Award in the Medical Devices category in New England.

Davin was selected by an independent panel of judges to receive the award, which recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. The award was presented Tuesday, June 24 at a gala event at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel.

The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation's most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
