Date:1/8/2009

CANTON, Mass., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- CrossTech Forums today announced that the second annual Health IT Insight, the only national invitational summit featuring a content partnership with Health Industry Insights, an IDC company, will now take place at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix, Arizona from April 29-May 1, 2009. Originally scheduled for January 2009 in Jacksonville, the event is moving to the four-diamond Phoenix resort in order to accommodate expanded content and growing participation among IT suppliers and an invitation-only audience of senior-level executives from the payer and provider segments of the healthcare industry.

The exclusive content program focused on the latest IT healthcare research and market trends will be led by IDC's Health Industry Insights analysts Scott Lundstrom, Janice Young, Marc Holland, Lynne Dunbrack and Dr. Alan Louie. The agenda also features pre-scheduled boardroom and one-on-one meetings between attending executives and vendor sponsors, a product demonstration and meeting area, and an industry awards program.

"Technology continues to transform the healthcare industry, and in this challenging economic environment both provider and payer executives are looking for new IT solutions to save money, streamline processes, and improve patient services and care," says Paul Samargedlis, Vice President of Business Development for CrossTech Forums. "Health IT Insight represents a unique environment to facilitate collaboration and transparency across the healthcare ecosystem, and we are pleased to hold the event in one of the top resort locations and venues in the United States."
