Rochester, Michigan (PRWEB) December 05, 2012

While other Michigan hospitals are growing larger and impersonal, Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, MI continues to offer superior personalized health care on a smaller scale. Crittenton's state-of-the-art Labor and Delivery Unit combines the safety of medical technology with the look and feel of a natural, home birth experience. Known as “The Birthplace”, Crittenton has designed 2 special birth suites for natural laboring families. Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), Chris Borowski and Tracie Achrem, associated with Women's Excellence in Midwifery in Lake Orion, MI, now have complete access to Crittenton Hospital's Labor and Delivery Unit for women who choose a CNM in a hospital setting.

According to Chris Borowski, CNM associate at Women's Excellence in Midwifery, "Crittenton Hospital is an ideal setting to have a natural childbirth with convenient and sometimes necessary access to obstetricians, pediatricians, and other professionals trained to deal with complications affecting either the mother or baby if one arises". "Women's Excellence has had a great history with Crittenton Hospital and we are very glad to expand our relationship with them with our midwifery practice", stated Achrem. Both Borowski and Achrem have 20 years of high risk obstetric experience from Royal Oak Beaumont, respectively, and are excited to be working within the same community that they have been a part of all their lives.

Borowski and Achrem are both Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) each with a Master's Degree in Nursing Science (MSN). They are licensed advanced practice nurses (APNs) in the State of Michigan with a specialized skill set to provide a variety of women's health services, obstetric care, and labor and delivery services. Borowski and Achrem are fully supported by the well-trained, respected OB/GYNs of Women's Excellence in Obste
