Date:7/16/2009

HMC/CAH Consolidated, Inc. Names Broadlane Exclusive Provider of Supply Chain Services.

Dallas (Vocus) July 16, 2009 -- Broadlane announced today through a corporate relationship agreement that HMC/CAH Consolidated, Inc., based in Kansas City, Missouri has selected Broadlane as the exclusive provider of a broad range of cost-management solutions to help manage spending for all HMC/CAH-acquired critical access hospitals.

"As the industry-leading consolidator of critical access hospitals, we are constantly seeking ways to reduce costs without sacrificing quality as we transform hospitals into modern, new facilities," said Gordon Docking, chief operating officer, HMC/CAH. "After conducting a thorough analysis, we selected Broadlane for the demonstrated cost-management results they continually deliver to their clients, utilizing supply chain best practices to generate improvements and savings."

HMC/CAH will access Broadlane's unparalleled national GPO portfolio of consumable supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals and purchased services. Additionally, HMC/CAH will utilize OnRamp® (Broadlane's client portal) to access contract and vendor information, run reports (such as pharmacy price verification), view Broadlane news and information and download training and continuing education materials.

Broadlane's Capital Equipment Services will aid HMC/CAH as they continue to acquire critical access hospitals and replace them with state-of-the-art facilities. These Capital Equipment Services include Live Group Buys and Quote Review where price, warranty and term information is reviewed to promote accuracy of terms and pricing. Additionally, Broadlane client hospitals historically save approximately 25 percent and up to three months of research and negotiation time through participation at Broadlane Live Group Buys.
