Crisis and Trauma Recovery Self-help Book by Renowned Therapist Tracie O’Keefe Becomes Number 1 Amazon Bestseller
Date:12/29/2013

Sydney, NSW (PRWEB) December 30, 2013

After garnering a raft of positive reviews, the seventh book by eminent crisis therapist Tracie O’Keefe climbed to the top of the bestseller ranks in its category over the weekend of 14
December.

During the online launch in the run up to Christmas, customers from across the globe took the opportunity to buy a copy of Inspiration for Survive and Prosper – a handbook for how to overcome crisis or trauma, fast – for themselves and as a gift to loved ones.

Julia Moran, who describes herself as an “everyday mother and grandmother” praised the book for helping her to “negotiate the things life has thrown at me” and for being written “in a way that anyone and everyone can understand”.

Coach, speaker and trainer Melissa Stefano said the book was one “filled with possibilities and a step-by-step process to reclaim your life”.

Along with practical strategies and techniques to help people move forward out of the crisis state and into a life of prosper, O’Keefe shares her own honest, raw and at times heart-wrenching personal story of triumph over adversity. From growing up in poverty, childhood abandonment and abuse to a medical condition that at times threatened her life, O’Keefe tapped into an inner resilience that saw her transform into a successful therapist, coach, business woman, speaker and author.

Combined with skills gleaned from her psychotherapeutic and clinical hypnotherapy practice over the past 20 years, she has created a unique, step-by-step program for people to overcome crisis or trauma, fast, and go on to prosper and live a life they love.

“We all suffer crisis or trauma or major disappointment at some time in our lives,” says O’Keefe. “How we handle it impacts the rest of our lives. Sadly some people become defined by their crisis – they get stuck in it and take it on as part of their identity. What this means is they’re unable to move forward in their relationships, career or pursuing their dreams. They remain tied to the past and to the trauma.”

What O’Keefe teaches in the book – and an accompanying downloadable program and live workshop – is a blueprint for deep transformation out of survival and into prosper.

“These tools have transformed the lives of over 20,000 clients I’ve seen in the past 20 years, and I’ve also used them myself whenever I’ve found myself in a challenging situation,” says O’Keefe. “I believe it’s important for therapists, coaches and healers to walk their talk. I took a risk by making the details of my background public but the response from readers and clients has been heart-warming. I’m thrilled the book reached number one in its category on Amazon and I’m looking forward to sharing these resources on an even bigger scale.”
