About the Crisco Live Smart, Cook Smarter Contest

From January through March 2009, consumers shared an original recipe that incorporated Crisco Puritan Canola Oil with Omega-3 DHA and a photo of the prepared recipe. All entries were judged based on creativity, nutritional balance and taste and the top five entries were posted on www.Crisco.com for a nationwide vote in May.

Selected through a combination of online votes and scores from a panel of judges, one grand prize winner will be awarded $25,000 for a kitchen makeover. The four runners-up will each receive a $5,000 to be used toward kitchen makeovers.
