Date:12/17/2008

RALEIGH, N.C., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Creative Visions, Inc., a premier event production and audio-visual integration firm based in Raleigh, announced today that the company was acquired by Interactive Holdings, a leading communication solutions company.

Creative Visions is best known for producing world class events, including high profile productions held at the Palace of Versailles, Sydney Opera House, Blenheim Palace and many venues throughout the United States. Primary services offered by the company include event design, lighting, sound, video, content and scenery. In addition, the company operates an AV system integration business. Clients include RBC Bank, NC State, Peopleclick, Motricity and Axis Insurance.

Interactive Holdings is a leading communication solutions company focused on the healthcare and technology industries. Through a growing portfolio of operating companies, Interactive Holdings serves some of the largest and best companies in the world. Creative Visions joins an impressive list of portfolio companies including Presentation Strategies, Pharmaceutical Strategic Initiatives, BlueStreak Digital Printing and Regulatory Presentation Management.

"For the past 20 years, we've had the pleasure of working on some incredible projects for great clients across the country," said Allin Foulkrod, Founder and CEO of Creative Visions. "We've come a long way from the early days in 1989 when I operated Creative Visions out of my dorm room at NC State. This past year, 2008, was our strongest, most profitable to date and it feels great to know that we're the trusted partner of choice for so many companies that need meeting and event production services.

"Joining forces with the Interactive Holdings team will allow us to take Creative Visions to the next level," Foulkrod added. "We're thrilled to be part of a team of top companies that are so well respected. We'll now have access to additional resources and expertise as we continue to grow the business and improve the service we offer to clients."

"Allin Foulkrod and his team have built an outstanding organization," said Bob Befus, CEO of Interactive Holdings. "It speaks to the strength of the creative talent in the Triangle area to have such a strong company based in Raleigh. They have an excellent reputation in the industry, which is evidenced by their impressive client list and the large, high profile projects they have been awarded this year. They'll be a great compliment to our existing portfolio companies."

Creative Visions will continue to operate under its current name with no interruption of service to customers. They'll follow the same model used with other Interactive Holdings acquisitions, allowing incumbent leadership and staff to continue to operate the business.

"The Interactive Holdings business model is simple and effective," Befus added. "We find strong entrepreneurial leaders like Allin who are running successful businesses within our target markets. We free those leaders from the administrative burdens of running their businesses, allowing them to focus their creativity and unique abilities on customers. Our model has worked exceptionally well to date and we expect to see similar results with Allin and his great team at Creative Visions."
