Crazy Water Expands Distribution to Whole Foods Market(R)

Texas-Based Mineral Water Sold Throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana

MINERAL WELLS, Texas, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Crazy Water, the natural mineral water sourced and bottled by Famous Mineral Water Co. in Mineral Wells, Texas, announces its introduction into 13 Whole Foods Market locations across Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. This is the company's first step toward a national expansion of the only domestically bottled mineral water available in the United States.

Crazy Water, first discovered in Texas in 1881, is a naturally occurring mineral water sourced from the wells in Mineral Wells, Texas. The water is available in three mineral content options -- No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4. Crazy Water No. 2 has the lowest mineral count and is described as fine table water that is suggested as a daily drinking water. No. 3 is deep well water with a higher mineral content that is also great for daily drinking and can be used daily. No. 4 has the highest mineral content, and it's recommended that adults drink 8 to 16 ounces a day.

Crazy Water got its name in the late 1800s after an elderly woman suffering from dementia drank No. 4 and was cured of her illness. The well became known as the "Crazy Well," and eventually the name Crazy Water stuck. Enthusiasts continue to drink the water that has the same minerals it contained more than 100 years ago.
