Cosmetic Laser Institute in Orange County Introduces Non-Surgical Fat Reduction with Exilis
Date:12/26/2013

Anaheim, California (PRWEB) December 26, 2013

Exilis is an FDA-approved, non-invasive, and non-surgical technology that utilizes radio frequency to treat the skin and promote fat reduction. During treatment, a combination of gentle warmth and radio frequency work together to reduce fat, reduce wrinkles and increase collagen production.

The Exilis technology works by delivering controlled heat under the skin, right where those stubborn fat cells reside. Each group of fat cells is covered by an outer layer of tough and fibrous tissue. Vibration breaks into this tough and fibrous tissue allowing the Exilis to reach those fat cells. The heat from the Exilis increases metabolism in the particular treatment area allowing it to shrink the size of each fat cell. The Exilis’ mono-polar radio frequency and advanced cooling system allows for the deep penetration within the fat cells without the risk of burning your skin.

During Exilis treatment, the patient feels little to no discomfort and will typically experience a warming sensation as the medical staff guides the hand-piece over the treatment area in order to heat the tissue at a precise and computer-controlled level while monitoring skin temperature and engaging the cooling system to maximize comfort. Each session lasts between 15 minutes up to an hour with little to no required downtime afterwards, depending on the size of the treatment area. While some patients experience visible results after just one session, four to six sessions are recommended for optimal results.
