WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Cosmetic Bootcamp LLC announces strong corporate support for its inaugural program for residents and fellows in the core esthetic specialties of dermatology, plastic surgery, otorhinolarnygology and ophthalmology.
"Sole commercial sponsorship from Allergan Medical and medical education grants from Medicis (MRX), Bioform (BFRM) and Allergan (AGN) have enabled us to plan to bring high quality education training programs in New York and Los Angeles," says Dr. Kenneth Beer. "Despite the recession, several companies have partnered to ensure that physicians in training receive the education required to optimize patient outcomes," according to Dr. Vic Narurkar.
Allergan Medical (AGN) has generously agreed to sole commercial sponsorship of the 2009 series of Cosmetic Bootcamp University meetings. Medical education grants from Medicis (MRX), Bioform (BFRM), and Allergan (AGN) will help to train residents and fellows at no cost at upcoming Cosmetic Bootcamp University Programs.
The Cosmetic Bootcamp is the leading specialty training program. Its main meeting, held in Aspen in June, teaches core specialty physicians about new technology, pioneering techniques and novel product developments to help them bring the best practices back to their patients. The meeting also presents evidence based information in a small, collegial environment.
Leading physicians from dermatology and plastic surgery attend and the symposium is one of the few meetings expected to sell out this year. "Sponsorship remains high," says Dr. Mary Lupo, "because corporations realize that they need to promote the specialists who can deliver optimal patient outcomes if they are to succeed."
The Cosmetic Bootcamp is the first and only meeting to focus solely on core specialists. In addition to these meetings, a comprehensive textbook is planned for release in 2010.
