Corporate and Political PR Pro to Lead Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association
Date:9/7/2007

ther public officials, cardiac patients and family members, corporate leaders, and the medical community to vastly expand the use of external and implanted devices in order to save more lives."

The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association was founded in 2006 as an independent, not-for-profit organization with the mission of eliminating all preventable deaths from sudden cardiac arrest by the year 2020. Members of SCAA include SCA survivors, individuals with ICDs, family and friends of those who have suffered SCA or are at risk of SCA, first responders and health professionals. To save more lives, SCAA is building a network of local chapters to increase public access to CPR, external defibrillators (AEDs), and ICDs, advocate for state-wide policy changes, and develop community programs. For more information, please visit the SCAA web site at http://www.suddencardiacarrest.org.
