Cord Blood America, Inc. Appoints Somerville Associates, Public Relations Counsel

SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cord Blood America, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: CBAI) (www.CordBlood-America.com), a cord blood stem cell storage company, has selected Somerville Associates, a 25 year-old public relations agency based in West Los Angeles as public relations counsel for Cord Blood America, Inc., according to Matthew Schissler, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Cord Blood America. The agency will publicize Cord Blood America in consumer and business print media, as well as online and in electronic media. According to Schissler, the agency was appointed for its experience and accomplishments in feature story placement, publicity, and new media.

He adds that besides current uses, medical research is centering on treatments using umbilical cord stem cells to combat heart disease, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injuries, sickle cell anemia, cancer and other diseases difficult to treat.
