Cooperative Exchange Meeting to Tackle Stimulus Package Effects

DALLAS, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cooperative Exchange announces that it will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 from Noon to 4pm (CDT) in downtown Chicago, IL in conjunction with HIMSS '09. There will be a business meeting, but a large portion will be devoted to presentations from industry leaders.

These include an EHNAC Update from Lee Barrett, their Executive Director; a presentation on the Medical Banking Project Dispute Resolution Initiative with Sheila Schwitzer, Chairperson & CEO of CareMedic; an overview of the Cooperative Exchange's newest collaboration with the U.S. Healthcare Efficiency Index presented by Susanne Powell, Director of Corporate Communications for Emdeon; and an in-depth presentation on the stimulus package and budget with regard to its effect on the healthcare industry given by Bill Frinerfrock, HBMA Legislative Consultant.
