Former UnitedHealth Group EVP Will Strengthen Firm's Credentials in Business Process Outsourcing and in Healthcare Industry

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 3, 2009 -- Connextions Inc. announced today that it has selected Steven G. Auerbach for the position of President. Mr. Auerbach will have overall management - including strategy development, client services, operations and sales - for the company's sites in Florida, North Carolina and Indiana, and its 2,500 employees. Connextions Inc. is a technology-driven business process outsourcing firm serving a long list of the nation's largest and best-known health insurance plans and commercial enterprises, helping those firms to acquire, retain and service their customers.

Mr. Auerbach, 42, brings more than 18 years of experience to this new position, having served in various executive and senior management positions for major health plans. Most recently he was the Executive Vice President of Provider / Member Operations at UnitedHealth Group, where he oversaw 10,000 professionals providing service to more than 25 million consumers and 650,000 physicians. His broad range of responsibilities at the nation's 2nd largest health insurer included domestic and international call centers, claims processing, quality assurance, training, capacity planning, account management and Internet solutions.

During his tenure with UnitedHealth Group, his responsibilities also included Sales Operations and Communications, Commissions, Group Services, and eSolutions, where he architected that firm's Internet self-service strategy with the introduction of its Employer eServices® portal.

Previously, Mr. Auerbach worked four years for Aetna, and spent five years at CIGNA in the sales support, underwriting and information sys
