Congressman Tom Reynolds Awarded for Protecting Medicare Choices
Date:12/11/2007

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The office of Congressman Tom Reynolds was recently given the Medicare Choices Leadership Award for voting against huge cuts in Medicare that would significantly limit health care choices for seniors. Reynolds received the award from The Coalition for Medicare Choices for Reynolds' outstanding leadership in the effort to strengthen Medicare Choices.

David Trumpfheller, Coalition Member and Medicare beneficiary who lives in Amherst, New York, presented the award to Reynolds. "As a Medicare beneficiary, I very much appreciate what Congressman Reynolds has done to support my Medicare Advantage benefits."

"I am pleased to accept this Leadership Award from the Coalition for Medicare Choices," said Congressman Tom Reynolds. "Seniors depend on Medicare and I will always fight to protect seniors Medicare benefits."

The Coalition for Medicare Choices has members from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and supports high quality health plan choices in Medicare. The Coalition opposes funding cuts that would reduce Medicare Advantage benefits and raise out-of-pocket costs for the 8 million people covered by Medicare Advantage health plans.
