Comprehensive Pet Care Web Site Takes New Approach in Helping Pet Owners With Their Furry Members of the Family
Date:4/14/2008

ATLANTA, April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- It's 2 a.m. on a Sunday morning, your dog wakes you up vomiting and your vet is closed for the weekend. What do you do?

Well, this scenario happened to pet owner Brian Hankin. As he scrambled to find sound information on the Internet about what to do for his lab mix, he realized he needed to do more than just help his dog get better. He needed to develop a comprehensive resource for pet owners everywhere to assist them in caring for their four-legged friends.

Thus was born the concept of the newly launched Web site, PetDoc.com.

PetDoc.com is a pet health and care Web site offering expert advice, helpful tips and community with fellow pet owners.

PetDoc.com is unique because it organizes pet-related information by specific breed of cat or dog. Therefore, a pet owner can find answers to questions most significant to the breed or breeds of his/her pets.

It also includes an online forum through which visitors can exchange experiences and advice and chat with other pet owners. Pet videos provide fun and entertainment.

"I discovered that early Sunday morning as I searched online for help that there just wasn't one place with good, reliable information out there," Hankin said. "After I managed to find help for my dog, I knew I needed to change that. And that is what I am confident we have done in creating PetDoc."

Now PetDoc.com's CEO Hankin has managed transformational branding and new product development for such companies as Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola Company, InterContinental Hotels Group and Heineken.

PetDoc.com's team of professionals provide the quality content for the site, covering medical issues, behavioral issues and the day-to-day care of one's pet.

And to ensure the information remains relevant and current, the content is updated regularly. It is presented in an easy to follow, easy to navigate format.
