By July 1, 2009, the Mandatory Insurer Reporting (MIR) amendments to the MSP demand all organizations that provide liability insurance, no-fault insurance, workers' compensation and self-insurance have a compliance plan registered with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS). Insurance companies and self-insureds are the organizations most affected by this requirement as any penalties for non-compliance accrue to the entity that retains the risk.

Working in partnership, Aon and Crowe Paradis offer a comprehensive solution combining legal, medical, and information technology expertise. This approach drives broad compliance with all aspects of the MSP with successful negotiation with CMS. The result minimizes clients' workload while maximizing their cost savings. In head-to-head comparisons, Crowe Paradis has consistently delivered tens of thousands of dollars in savings on Medicare Set Asides allocations and conditional payment negotiations.
