SUMMARY: Men and women ages 13 and up will have the unique opportunity
of testing their personal fitness levels against members of
               the elite Navy SEAL community.

The Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge consists of a 500-yard swim,
               push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and 1.5-mile run. The Fitness
Challenge is an athletic competition with an overriding goal
of promoting physical fitness and increasing awareness of
SEALs and Navy Special Warfare/Special Operations
communities. The Fitness Challenge is identical in nature to
the Navy SEAL Physical Screening Test; the test SEAL
candidates must pass in order to get into the rigorous
               training program.

The Fitness Challenge kicked off in Boston in 2007 and
continued in 2008 in San Antonio, Los Angeles, Dearborn, MI,
               Chicago, and Atlanta.

The public Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge event will take place
on Saturday, March 14 at ASU. To learn more about the event
               and to pre-register please visit
               www.sealfitnesschallenge.com. Registration is free.

ATTENTION Members of the media are encouraged to participate --
MEDIA: seriously or for fun -- on Media Day March 10 or at the March
               14 event.

The Phoenix Police Department will perform Physical Training
(PT) with the SEALs on March 12 at 1:00pm and 2:30pm at the
               Phoenix Police Academy.

The Phoenix Firefighters "challenged the SEALs" to
participate in their PT training in full fire gear -- the
SEALs accepted the challenge. This will occur on March 13 at
8:00am and 9:30am at the Phoenix Fire Training Academy.
Media are invited to attend and participate in both days of
               PT.
