Cogdell Memorial Hospital opened in 1954. It has gone through two major expansions to get it where it is today, a 49-bed acute care hospital. Cogdell offers a variety of services to include hospital Inpatient and Outpatient services, a Home Health agency, a Rehab & Wellness Center, and a 7 provider Rural Health Clinic that provides medical services to the surrounding rural communities. The hospital owns and operates a specialty clinic that brings in Cardiologists, Orthopedic Surgeons and access to other specialists not on staff. Cogdell Memorial Hospital is also upgrading its current 8 Slice CT Scanner to a 64 Slice with the cardiac package and colonography, as well as putting in a full time MRI.
