Code Pink Boot Camp Supports Fristers and Young Mothers

The Pink Frister on The Pacific Edge is set for February 28, 2009

MISSION VIEJO, Calif., Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Christina Lucy, CEO of Code Pink Boot Camp, is pleased to announce The Pink Frister on The Pacific Edge, a fund-raising event benefiting Fristers, a non-profit that supports teen and young single mothers. The event will be held Saturday, February 28 at 4:00pm at the Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach.

There is no fee to attend this oceanfront RSVP event. Attendees will enjoy cocktails and delicious fare offered by local Orange County restaurants. A fashion show featuring Femme Athletic Wear and the new 2009 Spring CPBC line of active wear will liven the evening with music provided by DJ Donnie L. Nero, Jr. A silent auction will be a focal point of the evening, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Fristers, a non-profit organization committed to assisting teenage mothers become independent, self-sufficient and productive women and moms.

Interested participants may register via email at info@CodePinkBootCamp.com or call 949.702.7548. RSVPs are required for entry and space is limited to the first 100 RSVPs. Event is open to men and women. The event begins at 4:00pm and the fashion show begins at 5:00pm.

Christina Lucy has dedicated her life to helping others reach their fitness goals through exercise, nutrition and healthy choices. A highly-certified fitness professional, Christina is the creator of the women's EZ8 Running Program and Code Pink Boot Camp, among many other Orange County and Scottsdale, AZ fitness programs.

Christina is taking her desire to give back to the community to the next level by reaching out to the community to organize and sponsor charitable events through Code Pink Boot Camp. The Pi
