Clixon Web-based Dental Purchasing and Inventory Management Identifies Inventory Cost Savings for the Dental Industry in 2013

Tracking lot, serial, and case numbers are easy to record while receiving items on a purchase order, prompts guide you through the process in seconds. With the Clixon distribution module the dental lab or practice can record employee and cost center usage, record lot, serial, and case numbers as items are being used, establish min/max levels, manage consignment inventory, and a variety of other features make for a robust application.

Corporate organizations using Clixon can maintain an organization list of inventory items, manage what items are visible to each company, establish and maintain accounting information, monitor vendors by company, establish budgets by company and there is a permissions setting to authorize approved personnel to purchase orders being submitted.

“After using Clixon for several months, I find that there are several features that are a vast improvement to the program that I had been using. The first is the Requisition feature. The fact that I can run one requisition for many days is very helpful. I usually place my orders once a week. My desk use to be full of post-it notes and supply sheets. Now each day when I need to order something I just add it to this week’s requisition & forget about it. On Wednesday when I am ready to place orders, all I need to do is open that requisition, click on create Purchase orders, and I am done. Multiple Vendors, multiple items, how easy is that! I appreciate, that when the system issues a P.O. it contains both the vendor’s telephone number, and my account number, as well as the items I am ordering. One stop shopping. Another feature I really like is the ability to find items in several different ways. If I am unsure of a product name, I can find it under category or vendor.
