Clinovo Adds Global PharmaTek to Its ClinCapture® CRO Partner Program

Sunnyvale, California, and Piscataway, New Jersey (PRWEB) May 02, 2013

Clinovo, Inc., a technology and services company headquartered in the Bay Area, focused on global solutions for the clinical trials industry, today announced that it has signed Global PharmaTek LLC to its ClinCapture® CRO Partner Program.

Clinovo’s ClinCapture® CRO Partner Program is a non-exclusive enterprise agreement and accreditation relationship that empowers Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) to design and deploy EDC trials using ClinCapture®, the most advanced open-source Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system available. As a ClinCapture® CRO Partner, Global PharmaTek will be able to offer Clinovo software products and services in providing support of clinical development to its clients at reduced cost.

“We are pleased to add Global PharmaTek to our ClinCapture® CRO Partner Program,” states Ale Gicqueau President & CEO of Clinovo. “Collaboratively, this program allows Global PharmaTek to offer our cost-effective EDC system ClinCapture® to best serve sponsors’ clinical trial needs particularly in early and late stage development. Our CRO Partner Program model allows them to offer predictable research and development costs extending EDC functionality and benefits to smaller studies at substantially lower costs.”

“Our partnership with Clinovo is a big step towards offering universal clinical data management services in a high quality, cost-effective approach. We now have a strong electronic data management infrastructure for early and late stage development for all types of studies,” says Ramesh Anumolu, CEO of Global PharmaTek. ClinCapture® is a strategic choice to match our other applications which better serve pivotal development studies. At Global PharmaTek, we are committed to constantly enhance our service offering and signed this long-term, value-added relationship to better meet our sponsors’ business needs.”

Electronic Data Capture has been a strategic area of growth for Clinovo. In the last three years, the company made major investments to offer an application with the same benefits as proprietary EDC systems without the license fees. Clinovo developed cutting-edge features and set up a world-class team of EDC experts, including the lead developer on the first open-source EDC system. ClinCapture® has been adopted by hundreds of Clinical Data Managers (CDMs), Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) for its ease-of-use and flexibility.
