Clinical InfoNet Goes Live
Date:2/12/2008

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Clinical Information Network, Inc., announces the launch of Clinical InfoNet, the first state-of-the-art, videoconferencing network established specifically to video-enable physicians.

The network allows physicians to conduct face-to-face onscreen meetings with other physicians. It also provides member physicians with ready access to valuable sources of healthcare information and product samples, including sales representatives of pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Primus Pharmaceuticals is the first company to sign a contract with Clinical Information Network. Additional pharmaceutical client agreements are expected in the near future.

Commenting on this launch, J.D. Weir, CEO of Primus, stated, "Our field sales force focus to this point has been predominantly on specialists, and not primary care. Yet Primus has a number of prescription products for conditions regularly seen by primary care physicians."

"Clinical InfoNet can provide Primus with access to thousands of high patient volume primary care physicians," he added. "This is a very effective channel to achieve regular, monthly, on-screen face-to-face sales discussions with these physicians."

"Furthermore, based on our initial experience," he said, "Clinical InfoNet enables our video sales representatives to achieve in-depth product discussions with these physicians, while achieving a large volume of calls each day since we have highly trained representatives available daily to the physicians from 8 a.m. to midnight Eastern Standard Time, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

"Our experience shows Clinical InfoNet reaches the larger primary care audience with more impact and convenience at a time in the industry when these same physicians are overloaded with armies of sales representatives every day. This initiative has already begun to generate strong prescription volume for our products," Weir concluded.
