Clinical Data from Plastic Surgeon in New Jersey Helped in Final Determination of 2008's Top Plastic Surgery Procedures

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery has released their annual survey of cosmetic surgery procedures indicating the top three as breast augmentation, liposuction and eyelid surgery. Plastic surgeon in New Jersey, Dr. William Franckle, contributed clinical data to the final determination of this study.

Voorhees, NJ (Vocus) March 19, 2009 -- Board certified, plastic surgeon in New Jersey and member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), Dr. William Franckle, was called upon to release his practice statistics to help determine the top cosmetic surgery procedures of 2008.

According to the results of the study, breast augmentation, liposuction and eyelid surgery ranked as the top three plastic surgery procedures performed last year, with over 10 million surgical and nonsurgical procedures preformed across the country for 2008.

"I was happy to share our office statistics to help the ASAPS determine the top procedure of 2008," says Dr. William Franckle, surgeon for cosmetic surgery in South Jersey. "It's uplifting to see that our industry is continuing to hold strong despite economic set backs."

ASAPS called upon the most influential plastic surgeons in the United States to release their personal plastic surgery data for a thorough and accurate study result. Dr. Franckle was among this group of surgeons participating in the annual survey. This is the 12th such survey produced by the A
