ThinkHealth Solution Will Power Cariten Healthcare Goals to Assure

Appropriate Services and Encourage Member Wellness

POWELL, Ohio, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Click4Care, Inc., a provider of innovative medical management software that improves healthcare for payers, providers and patients, today announced that Cariten Healthcare, one of the largest health insurers headquartered in Tennessee and a subsidiary of Covenant Health, has selected ThinkHealth for its medical management solution.

Cariten will underpin the operation of its existing disease and care management programs with ThinkHealth, leveraging its best-of-breed decision- support and workflow mechanisms to streamline processes and enable better- targeted, more efficient, and more robust care to members.

ThinkHealth integrates customer relationship management services and case and disease management tools on one central medical management system, with superior configurability, scalability, and easy integration with legacy and external systems. ThinkHealth's strengths perfectly support Cariten's comprehensive medical management process, designed to manage healthcare resources wisely and maintain or improve member health through wellness and disease education programs.

"ThinkHealth will provide Cariten with an extensively integrated, scalable solution to meet its growing membership demands," said David Blauer, founder and CEO of Click4Care. "Cariten care managers can better track patient care and open the lines of patient/family/care manager/doctor communication, all while controlling costs," he added.

ThinkHealth's intuitive user interface includes a complete medical management workboard that provides immediate access to member information, gleaned from the member-centric ThinkHealth data store, which pulls data in realtime from legacy and external systems. With aggregated patient data at their fingertips, the Cariten team will dramatically improve efficiency of care.

Other keys to Cariten's selection of ThinkHealth were its content authoring, workflow, and business rule configuration tools. These features empower medical management teams to customize their programs' content and automated flows through advanced user friendly interfaces, reducing reliance on IT departments or other intermediaries.

"We're delighted that Cariten shares our vision for a progressive medical management approach," said Blauer.
