Industry veteran to lead next stage of growth and innovation at Click4Care

POWELL, Ohio, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Click4Care, provider of the industry-leading care management software suite, today announced the appointment of Rob Gillette as CEO. Gillette will focus on guiding the company through the next phase of its development, following its explosive growth in the last two years.

In addition to leading Click4Care, Gillette will continue as CEO of Burlington, Massachusetts-based HealthEdge, as the two organizations together offer a revolutionary new care management, claim processing, and benefit administration platform that goes far beyond existing solutions from other companies. Both HealthEdge and Click4Care will continue to operate independently, with separate boards of directors and management teams.

"Healthcare organizations will require modern technology solutions that integrate both care and benefit management in order to deliver next-generation, value-based healthcare offerings," said Dr. Albert Waxman, Chairman of Click4Care and Senior Managing Member of Psilos Group. "Click4Care and HealthEdge both have products that will fundamentally change the healthcare market over the next several years. We are excited to now have Rob Gillette leading these two Psilos portfolio companies."

"The healthcare industry is currently undergoing an unprecedented level of change," said Rob Gillette, CEO of both Click4Care and HealthEdge, "as payor organizations now realize they must leverage new technology in order to provide the innovation, transparency, and efficiencies that healthcare consumers demand. Click4Care and HealthEdge were both built with these 21st century healthcare needs in mind. By positioning the companies under common leadership, we will be able to leverage the combined strength of both offerings, and both companies, to create a solution that will be second to none in the market."

Click4Care also announced that David Blauer, the visionary entrepreneur behind the award-winning Click4Care software suite, would continue to shape the direction of the product in his new position as Vice-Chairman and Executive Vice-President of Product Strategy. He will also continue to play a key role in helping to expand and grow the company.
