Clearwave Corporation Creates Healthcare's First Patient-Facing Network Exchange
Date:2/23/2010

Clearwave Corporation announces Healthcare’s Authentication Network and Kiosk, which is the industry's first open network exchange that allows healthcare organizations of all sizes to authenticate patient eligibility and verify patient identity.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 23, 2010 -- Clearwave Corporation announces Healthcare’s Authentication Network and Kiosk (HANK). HANK allows healthcare organizations of all sizes to authenticate patient eligibility and verify patient identity in a matter of seconds allowing for a more efficient and consistent eligibility and access management processes.

Clearwave is EHR, PMS, EMR, HIS and HIE technology agnostic. The largest hospital as well as a single practitioner can now benefit from the connectivity and access management that an open network exchange provides. Much like the ATM network, HANK provides healthcare organizations with the portability and ease-of-use realized in the banking industry

With a connection to more than 95% of all health insurance payers in any market, Clearwave provides a single solution for organizations to authenticate eligibility for insured patients while giving the uninsured and self-pay patients the ability to provide basic household and personal information before services are rendered.

“HANK is the only solution that truly authenticates patient eligibility and streamlines the registration process while providing a compelling financial return on investment to physicians and hospitals,” said Gerard White, CEO for Clearwave. “The future of healthcare is moving toward sharing patient data across HIEs. The future of data sharing will be dependent on patients authenticating themselves at a device like HANK.”

Clearwave is exhibiting at HIMSS10 in Atlanta, Georgia on March 1-3, 2010 and performing live demonstrations of HANK throughout the tradeshow in booth
