Clearlycontacts.Ca Named as One of Bc's Top Employers

Vancouver based ClearlyContacts.ca, the largest online retailer of eyeglasses and contact lenses has been named as one of the Top Employers in BC for 2010. The annual list outlines the best companies to work for in BC based on a number of categories including employee benefits, community involvement and work atmosphere.

Vancouver, B.C. (Vocus) October 19, 2009 -- Vancouver based ClearlyContacts.ca, the largest online retailer of eyeglasses and contact lenses has been named as one of the Top Employers in BC for 2010. The annual list outlines the best companies to work for in BC based on a number of categories including employee benefits, community involvement and work atmosphere.

President and CEO of ClearlyContacts.ca, Roger Hardy comments "Being named as one of BC's Top Employers is a great honor for us as a company. We pride ourselves on our people and we work hard at making sure everyone feels like this is a home away from home."

Winners of the BC's Top Employers competition were selected from over 75,000 employers across Canada. From this initial group, editors at Mediacorp Canada Inc. invited 16,000 of the fastest-growing employers to apply, plus another 8,000 companies and organizations in industries that they wanted to examine more closely. Employers completed an extensive application process that included a detailed review of their operations and HR practices.
