Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) - Clearly Contacts, the world's largest online retailer of vision care products, unveils the newest addition to its collection of eyeglasses, Jhane Barnes' line of organic frames. The new designer frames incorporate organic, recycled material making them an environmentally friendly choice.

"Clearly Contacts has many green initiatives throughout our business, but we wanted to offer products that were inline with what we are doing in our corporate culture. This is a chance to pass on the opportunity to our customers who feel that the environment is an important issue for them." stated Vice President of North American Sales Steve Wallace.

The acetate arms of the rectangle frames make use of laminated recycled wood pulp, with 30 percent recycled scrap. The demo lenses are made of corn, the biodegradable alternative to the industry standard petroleum-based lenses. Packaging for the latest addition to Clearly Contacts wide range of eyeglass frames includes a backing card made from 100% recycled paper.

Mixing materials of recycled titanium and wood pulp are not only good for the environment, but they have created some stunning eyeglasses frames as well.

"When we began the search for environmentally-conscious eyeglasses, we were not sure what they would look like. We came across the Jhane Barnes Collection and knew immediately that we had to offer these frames, they are very stylish." adds Wallace.

Jhane Barnes reputation for quality and fit make the label a great fit for the Clearly Contacts lineup of spring style frames. Innovative uses of high quality fabric and fibers combine old world artisanship with the most cutting edge technology
