Clearly Contacts Expands Healthy Balance Initiative For Employees
Date:6/9/2009

Crespin. "We feel that our employees are like our family here at Clearly Contacts and to that end we want all of them feeling good, having positive attitudes and working at peak potential throughout the day."

In addition to the healthy lunch program, the company has instituted fully funded sports and exercise activities again for all employees, as well as subsidized gym memberships, intramural lunch-time teams, and nutritional lunch and learns, as a few of the healthy balance initiatives.

"We feel that exercise is one of the essential elements to maintaining good health and positive work habits for our employees. Too often we tend to sit at our desks while we work and by the end of the day we're simply too tired to properly exercise." says Crespin.

A healthy diet and exercise are certainly key elements for a positive outlook on life as well as a more compassionate attitude. Clearly Contacts has found that allowing employees to engage in healthy activities during the day has also reduced the amount of sick days taken by employees over the past two years.

"We feel that if our employees are happy and healthy, they will be more productive, and more engaged with customers. We have a great team and we want to make sure we treat them the way we expect them to treat our customers." says Crespin.
