Clean, Chemical-Free Eye Cream Evening Primrose Oil: The Puffy-Eye Cure
Date:7/9/2008

PAGOSA SPRINGS, Colo., July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- If your eye cream label read 'known carcinogens, petroleum-based, formaldehyde-and-ether containing ingredients inside!' would you use it? Probably not. However, most don't realize their moisturizers contain the commonly-used chemicals Dimethicone, Glyceryl Sterate, DMDM Hydantoin and Propylparaben, all known carcinogenic, formaldehyde ridden, allergy producing and skin irritating emulsifiers and preservatives.

Most eye creams are less than 50% moisture (the rest being water, emulsifiers, preservatives and chemicals), but Queen Bee Sauce's natural eye cream is different. With no chemicals, preservatives or emulsifiers, this 100% Evening Primrose oil is the $100-fancy-cream gone au natural, with better results and the same key ingredient, Evening Primrose.

Containing 78% amino acids and essential fatty acids (EFAs), Evening Primrose is a superb healing agent and moisturizing treatment for dry, aging skin and puffy, allergy-suffering eyes. Understanding the science behind this miracle-oil is key in appreciating all it can do. Absorbed through the skin, amino acids are transformed into prostaglandins, quelling allergic response and inflammation while controlling contraction of smooth muscle, dilation and constriction of blood vessels, passage of substances through cells and many other physiological functions. A healthy balance of prostaglandins in the skin is imperative for radiance and elasticity, along with maintaining clear, inflammation-free skin.

Skin lacks the enzymes needed to convert most typical EFAs into prostaglandins, but is able to easily utilize the rare EFA gamma-linolenic acid. Evening Primrose oil is an extremely rich source of this hard-to-find EFA. Since prostaglandins need to be continually created in the body, regular use of Evening Primrose oil gives the skin a constant source of EFAs, maintaining the skin's balance of prostaglandins.
