170 Long Term Care Homes and Retirement Residences to use community-based digital signage network to provide new communication link with residents
Burlington, ON and Charlottetown, PE (PRWEB) June 25, 2010 -- Classic Care Pharmacy has chosen ScreenScape, to develop a digital signage network that will be progressively deployed to 170 Long Term Care Homes and Retirement Residences in Ontario. Classic Care Pharmacy provides medication and consulting services to over 170 Long Term Care Homes and Retirement Residences totaling 13,000 senior residents. They will use ScreenScape to promote senior health and provide information on educational events and on-site services to residents.
"We pride ourselves in maintaining a 99.98% accuracy rate of the delivery of medication to our residents. Onsite media helps us to deliver on our commitment to care." stated Josh Cole of Classic Care Pharmacy. "We see the addition of the screens inside our homes as a valuable addition to our service, allowing us to quickly rollout information to all sites at once, or individual sites as needed. Getting this size of a network up and running wouldn't have been this easy with other solutions we've looked at."
ScreenScape is a community-based digital signage network making inroads in the healthcare sector. Classic Care Pharmacy joins MedXTV, Clinical Networks, and other leading healthcare brands as members of the service. ScreenScape is quickly amassing an impressive business-to-business network in which members share the common purpose of presenting digital content on screens in their lobbies, and waiting rooms as well as in retail stores and public places.
"The growing ScreenScape Community represents a resource we can draw upon, if we choose, to inform and entertain our residents. There's also opportunity here for our business to extend our marketing reach by collaborating with other members in the community who may already be using ScreenScape to deliver their promotional message. This is an entirely new marketing channel for Classic Care." continued Cole.
Kevin Dwyer, President & CEO of ScreenScape stated, "ScreenScape's community-based approach offers an economic model for Classic Care Pharmacy that just wasn't possible with the broadcast techniques used by conventional digital signage vendors. Classic Care will now be able to deliver relevant healthcare information as well as promotional content to each location where it has a ScreenScape-powered display. We are excited by the places they will take our technology over the coming months and by the partners that will be involved in this project."
