Classe Wines, an online retail boutique is offering exquisite special edition types of Burgundy wine that are available exclusively at its online store. The Burgundy region is known for its unusual terrain where the limestone bedrock gives the wines a unique mineral taste coupled with a light fruit flavor that gives these wines a smooth, creamy taste that you will not find anywhere else.

Burgundy, known in French as Bourgogne, is a region of France located to the southeast of Paris and to the north of Lyon. Only in Burgundy can you buy fine wine such as Chardonnay or Pinot Noir. The region has a long history of winemaking that is known to date back almost two thousand years. For centuries, inadequate infrastructure meant that the wines were difficult to ship to other regions, but as the roads in France improved the secret of Burgundy wine became known throughout France and around the world. Today, Burgundy wine is considered some of the most premium wine around the world due to longstanding tradition, and wine produced at Grand Cru is considered to be the best of Burgundy vine.

These three premier Burgundy offerings are from Domaine Albert Grivault Meursault, produced at a winery located in the village of Meursault along the slope of the Cote d’Or. The history of this winery dates back to 1879 when the former property owner Marquess de la Roche suddenly died without any heir to inherit the estate. During the same year, Albert Grivault, a prominent liqueur distiller at the time, makes a business move to acquire this property even though purchase of vineyard was a risky venture due to Phylloxera in vines during that time. Albert Grivault developed his own technique that was Phylloxera resistant rootstock. This technique enabled Albert chardonnay vines to thwart the
