Clarity Health Services Completes $6.6 Million Investment Round on Heels of Triple Digit Year-To-Date Growth

Clarity Health Services (“Clarity Health”), a rapidly-growing provider of care coordination solutions for medical practices and health systems, today announced it has closed a $6.6 million investment round led by Columbia Pacific Advisors’ Opportunity Fund. The investment follows a period of triple digit year-to-date growth for Clarity Health and will fund additional sales and development activity.

“This has been an extremely momentous year for us as we continue to experience rapid growth across our entire business,” said Bill Bunker, CEO of Clarity Health. “Columbia Pacific Advisors has been an invaluable source of growth capital and strategic direction in the healthcare sector, and we’re excited by their confidence in our prospects for 2014 and beyond.”

Clarity Health will leverage the new funding to further develop key capabilities for specialists and primary care practices. The company will also continue to expand its ability to support Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and larger health systems in current and new geographies nationwide. This is the second round of investment from Columbia Pacific Advisors’ Opportunity Fund which provided $3.0 million in capital for the company in 2011.

“Since Clarity Health’s launch in 2007, we have been impressed with the company’s rapid expansion into new markets and its overall growth trajectory,” said Dan Baty of Columbia Pacific Advisors. “We anticipate the company will see sustained demand for its practice management tools among hospital systems, ACOs, and physician practices.”

The investment from Columbia Pacific Advisors’ Opportunity Fund follows Clarity Health’s recent honor as the winner of Seattle Business Magazine’s Tech Impact Award in the Health Category. The compan
