Citizens Republic Bancorp Selects HealthPlus as Sole Provider of Health Insurance for 2009

FLINT, Mich., Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Citizens Republic Bancorp has selected HealthPlus Insurance Company to become its sole health insurance carrier for all active employees and retirees effective January 1, 2009.

Citizens' 5,000 employees, retirees, and their dependents in Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Iowa, will be offered an array of PPO plan options through HealthPlus.

During the open enrollment period, all Citizens employees were provided online tools through HealthPlus's custom web site to assist them in selecting the PPO plan best suited for their individual and family needs.
