CitiusTech Launches Vantage 2012 Program to Enable Healthcare ISVs to Meet CCHIT Requirements & Capture HITECH Act Related Growth Opportunities
Date:4/1/2009

SARASOTA, Florida, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- CitiusTech, a leading provider of healthcare technology solutions and services, today announced the launch of Vantage 2012 - a comprehensive program to enable healthcare ISVs to meet CCHIT requirements and scale their professional services capabilities to meet the EHR adoption timeline of 2012 set as part of the HITECH Act.

"The HITECT Act presents a tremendous opportunity for healthcare ISVs to increase revenues and market share. While most healthcare ISVs recognize this opportunity, only a few have the engineering and professional services organizations needed to support the aggressive timelines", said Rizwan Koita, CEO of CitiusTech. "Vantage 2012 is designed to help ISVs bridge the 2009-2012 organizational gaps and capture the emerging market opportunities".

Firstly, Vantage 2012 will enable healthcare ISVs meet CCHIT requirements - gap analysis, product enhancements, and validation. Key emerging requirements of CCHIT include (a) interoperability within organizations e.g., EHR, e-prescription, lab, imaging, (b) interoperability across organizations e.g., HIEs, NHINs, (c) evidence-based clinical guidelines and protocols for care and disease managment, and (d) healthcare performance management -including clinical outcomes and chronic disease management. Secondly, Vantage 2012 will enable healthcare ISVs scale their professional services organization to meet the expected growth in business between 2009 and 2012. Vantage 2012 professional services include implementation, integration and customization.

"The HITECH Act stipulates interoperability and "meaningful use" requirements for physician practices and hospitals by 2012. Physician practices and hospitals will face tremendous time pressure to meet these timelines. Successful healthcare ISVs will need to be cognizant of these issues and plan accordingly," added Rizwan Koita.
