Asheville, NC (PRWEB) October 8, 2009 -- Launching this week, the Cheney Research Web site (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) which includes cutting-edge medical concepts and therapies developed at the Cheney Clinic and conveyed in part by extensive use of audio-video format.

The Cheney Clinic is a research-oriented, state-of-the-art treatment facility located in Asheville, NC. With over 25 years in the field of CFS, Paul R. Cheney MD, PhD serves as its director.

With the new Web site, the Cheney Clinic hopes to translate the most up-to-date and clinically useful research conducted at the clinic to both patients and clinicians, and to increase awareness of the Cheney Clinic's special expertise in cardiac-related issues in CFS. Other important information accessible from the site includes the concept of oxygen toxicity, disorders of cellular redox as measured by the echo terrain map (ETM) and the use of novel therapies such as cell-signaling factors and stem-cell therapy.

CheneyResearch.com lets users access the most useful concepts and data that underlie evolving views of Dr. Cheney through his personal blog, organized by date and topic. It also contains videocasts on specific topics which are key to Dr. Cheney's current thinking, and audio/PowerPoint of his most recent talks on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
