Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation Receives $25,000 Gift from TD Bank

Grant will Support Recently Launched Military Program

SHORT HILLS, N.J., May 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, the national, non-profit organization dedicated to finding cures and treatments for spinal cord injuries and improving the lives of people living with paralysis, announced today it has received a gift of $25,000 from TD Bank's charitable giving arm, the TD Charitable Foundation. The donation will support the Reeve Foundation's recently launched military program.

"We are extremely appreciative of TD Bank's generosity. Through their gift, we will grow our military program, enabling us to continue to reach out to military and government organizations and hospitals to raise awareness of spinal cord and brain injuries," said Peter T. Wilderotter, president and CEO of the Reeve Foundation. "The goal of our military program is to support service members and veterans, whether their injuries occurred in combat, support positions, training, or here at home. They deserve our help and we are thrilled that TD Bank has partnered with us in this endeavor."
