Christian Companion Senior Care to Open in Memphis

A new concept in senior care is sweeping the country

CORDOVA, Tenn., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Christian Companion Senior Care, the nation's first senior care franchise to combine practical and spiritual assistance, is opening an office in Cordova, Tenn. The grand opening will be on April 8, 2009. The new office is located at 1160 Vickery Lane, Suite 6, Cordova, Tenn., 38016. Grand opening festivities will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will last until 3:30 p.m. Free refreshments will be served. Those interested in working for Christian Companion Senior Care or utilizing their services are highly encouraged to attend the grand opening.

"We are excited to bring this new concept of in-home senior care to the Memphis area," said Mark Lewis, owner. "With the number of seniors living in Memphis around 41,000, we feel this area will be great for a new location. Our services give seniors and their family members a chance to live their lives with dignity and independence knowing our company is based upon Christian values."

Christian Companion Senior Care provides seniors with traditional in-home services, such as bathing, light housekeeping, medication reminders, meal preparation and transportation. In addition, trained and experienced care-giving professionals are also equipped to provide spiritual encouragement from a uniquely Christian perspective.

Clients indicate that in-home assistance gently coupled with spiritual encouragement - like prayer, reading the Bible, even singing a favorite old hymn - can make the difference between merely existing and living with joy.

Christian Companion Senior Care is based in Oklahoma City. Operations began in 2004 with a location in Oklahoma City and continued growing in 2007 with a location in Tulsa, Okla. Christian Companion Senior Care began offering franchises in August 2008.
