China Nepstar Chain Drugstore to Announce Second Quarter 2009 Financial Results on August 24

SHENZHEN, China, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Nepstar Chain Drugstore Ltd. (NYSE: NPD) ("Nepstar" or the "Company"), the largest drugstore chain in China based on the number of directly operated stores, announced today that the Company will report the second quarter financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, before the market opens on Monday, August 24, 2009.

The Company will host a conference call, to be simultaneously Web cast, on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time / 8:00 p.m. Beijing Time.
