Chilton Medical Center has launched MyChilton, an interactive web portal that aims to empower patients and their families to take a more active role in their health care by providing easy, secure access to their medical information.
MyChilton Patient Portal gives patients instant, web-based access to their health information at Chilton Medical Center, including laboratory and radiology results, medications, allergies, demographic information, visit history, discharge/aftercare information, and more.
In addition to handling their own care, parents and health care proxies with authorized consent are able to access the records of those individuals for whom they manage care.
“We are committed to keeping our patients informed and engaged in their health care,” said Deborah K. Zastocki, RN, DNP, president, Chilton Medical Center and vice president, Atlantic Health System. “MyChilton will enable our patients to access the information they need at any time and from anywhere.”
Patients can access the portal from any computer, smart phone or similar device, once they have registered for an account and established a secure username and password. To register or for more information, patients may visit http://www.chiltonhealth.org/mychiltonphm.
