Charities Eligible to Receive Weekly Donation of $500 in Custom Promotional Merchandise
Date:5/7/2013

Oshkosh, WI (PRWEB) May 07, 2013

In February of 2013, MARCO Promotional Products announced their new charitable foundation program - Difference Makers - which is designed to award a worthy school, religious group, or 501(3)(C) organization each week with $500 of customized promotional products of their choosing. These products may be used to create awareness, increase support for a deserving cause, or raise additional funds for a non-profit organization. MARCO is encouraging all participants to consider choosing items that may be used for fundraisers, which could double their financial efforts.

MARCO’s CEO, Dick Nelson, states, “We feel this is a small way we can give back and support those organizations that empower various groups to succeed. It is our honor to assist the dedicated volunteers who are working to raise awareness for their cause. Our hope is support them in this small way so we can help them make an even bigger difference in their community!"

Throughout 2013, MARCO will be donating approximately $25,000 to this philanthropic giving program. The intent is to continue throughout 2014, with no specific end date in site. Demand for the program has been high since the announcement in late February, 2013.

The applications for the program will be reviewed to verify their alignment of mission, solicitations and resource allocation as well as published reports that provide details regarding their contributions. Those involved with the MARCO organization state that this charitable program is a direct reflection of their culture and philosophy. MARCO is an equal opportunity employer who is dedicated to the policy of non-discrimination regardless of race, gender, religious beliefs, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age or disability. MARCO is happy to review all applications from organizations that support these beliefs.

MARCO is currently accepting applications for the 2013 Difference Makers program. Applications will be accepted through December 15, 2013. For the 2014 program, application dates will be accepted on December 16, 2013 and will continue to be received until December 15, 2014. To register your favorite charity in the Difference Makers program, please contact MARCO at 920-651-1247 (ext 2012) or by email at DifferenceMakers(at)MarcoPromos(dot)com.
