Chantel Christie Named Youth Ambassador for HIV/AIDS Awareness by Metro TeenAIDS Organization

There are between 1000 and 1500 young people under 20 infected with HIV in the Washington DC area, most whom do not know their status. Washington DC is ranked number one in the nation with the highest HIV rate.

About Chantel Christie:

Chantel is an up and coming 14 year old singer and established model who aspires to be a good role model for her peers. Growing up primarily in Seattle, Washington, She is being home schooled while pursuing her dreams. Lastly, she will be releasing her first book titled "I want to live" in 2008.
