Chairmen Picked for March 2010 Asbestos Litigation Conference
Date:11/2/2009

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- HB Litigation Conferences has announced the chairmen of its annual "Emerging Trends in Asbestos Litigation" conference scheduled for March 4-5, 2010, at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, Calif.

Noted asbestos plaintiff attorneys John Cooney of Cooney & Conway of Chicago and Perry Weitz of Weitz & Luxenberg of New York and well-known asbestos defense attorney Lawrence Cetrulo of Cetrulo & Capone of Boston are chairing the event, which was formerly branded under the Mealey's name, according to Tom Hagy, HB's CEO.

Hagy, former editor and publisher at Mealey Publications, said HB President and lead program developer Sharon Boothe is once again building the program, this time with the new combination of Conway, Weitz and Cetrulo. Boothe was the founding conference director for Mealey Conferences in 1992, a position she held through the company's sale and evolution into HB Litigation Conferences. Mealey Publications continues to be part of LexisNexis.

"With the combined experience and networks of our chairmen and Boothe, I am confident that we will once again deliver what attorneys, in-house counsel and insurers need to know and need to watch in this ever-evolving area of litigation," Hagy said.

"We're also planning for a strong networking event," Hagy said, noting that a limited number of free seats are available for a conference that routinely draws over 200 attendees. Discounts are in place for qualifying attendees that include in-house counsel, risk managers, government employees, paralegals and groups. For more information about the "Emerging Trends in Asbestos Litigation" conference contact HB Litigation Conferences by phone at (484) 324-2755 (Pennsylvania office) or (951) 677-7314 (California office), by email at info@LitigationConferences.com, or by visiting the conferences section a
