Certified Lab Tests Confirm the Activeion Pro Is a Sanitizing Device

Chemical-Free Cleaning Process Offers Greater than 99.9 Percent Bacterial Reduction

ROGERS, Minn., May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The Activeion Pro, a convenient hand-held device that offers a breakthrough in chemical-free cleaning by transforming tap water into a powerful general-purpose cleaner, has now been certified as a sanitizing device. Lab test results show, when used as directed, the Activeion Pro offers a greater than 99.9 percent reduction of E. Coli, staph, MRSA, listeria and salmonella bacteria (EPA Est. #086143-MN-001).

The Activeion Pro, the only cleaner without a chemical-related health warning label, transforms tap water into a powerful cleaner. An EPA-certified lab confirms the Activeion Pro provides a clean and sanitary surface. The simple process includes thoroughly wetting the surface to be cleaned with activated water from the device and wiping it dry with a clean cloth.

When the trigger of the Activeion Pro is pressed, tap water flows through a water cell that applies a small electrical charge, activating the water. Next, the activated water passes through an ion exchange membrane, where it is separated into an oxygenated mixture of positively and negatively charged nano-bubbles. Click here for a demonstration of how it works.

When applied to a surface, the chemical-free activated water from the Activeion Pro helps lift dirt and organisms from the surface, enabling them to be wiped away. The activated water returns to its natural tap water state after about 45 seconds.

"These sanitizing test results offer one more compelling reason why the Activeion Pro is truly the safest way to clean," says Todd Schaeffer, vice president and general manager, Activeion Cleaning Solutions. "Not only does the Activeion Pro eliminate toxic chemicals from the cleaning process, but when used as directed, it removes harmful bacteria as well."

According to a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency-sponsored report,(1) each year, six out of every 100 cleaning professionals are injured by the chemicals they use. Burns to the eyes and skin are the most common injuries, followed closely by breathing toxic fumes. The Activeion Pro frees people from serious health risks stemming from the touching, breathing or accidental splashing of toxic cleaning chemicals, benefiting consumers, those who are exposed to the chemicals secondhand, and our environment.

"The Activeion Pro delivers a greener cleaning experience for everyone," adds Schaeffer. "And the versatility of the product allows the user to replace many of today's most common daily-use cleaners."

The Activeion Pro is ideal for use on glass, stainless steel, wood, stone and marble as well as carpet and clothing, and is available for purchase at
