Centrillion Biosciences Launches Cloud and Mobile-based Sequencing Application
Date:9/23/2013

Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) September 23, 2013

Based on data compiled from results of many targeted re-sequencing and exome experiments, users can search using gene symbols, synonyms and gene descriptions giving a visual display of coverage of specific target regions. In addition to providing coverage data, mSeq(TM) reports in a handy summary view of searched gene regions.

Features and Benefits

  • Visual display of real of target region coverage, with resolution to single nucleotide positions. Users can quickly understand how completely genes of interest are covered.
  • Displays both real coverage and “sequenceable” coverage. Based on real data, users can see if gene regions are difficult to sequence.
  • Search input has auto-completion functionality based on gene symbols, synonyms or even gene descriptions. Allows customers to quickly gain information about genes with minimal or incomplete input information.
  • Handy summary view for all genes. Researchers can plan effectively before capture and sequencing by seeing how completely genomic regions of interest will be covered.

"Centrillion is committed to next generation sequencing and genomics services for our growing customer base. The launch of mSeq(TM) is an example of our continued effort to provide superior genome, exome and custom targeted next generation sequencing services and useful tools making these technologies accessible to a wider group of customers,” said Wei Zhou, Centrillion’s President and CEO.

mSeq Cloud Version can be accessed at Centrillion Genomic Services' website. mSeq Android Version can be downloaded from Google Play.
