About Centre De Sante Et De Services Sociaux Haut-Richelieu-Rouville

CSSS stands for "Centre Sante et Services Sociaux". There are currently 95 Health and Social Services Centers in Quebec. The CSSS' overall mission is to understand the state of health and well-being of the population on its territory; to take appropriate steps to ensure proper case management, counseling and support for clients; to optimize timely management of the range of services in order to prevent illnesses from progressing to more advanced stages requiring more intensive and costly care.

The CSSS Haut-Richelieu-Rouville was created in July 2004, it's a regional hospital with 14 satellites on the south shore of Montreal, it has around 3,300 employees, 300 doctors covering a population of 160,000 people. Its annual budget is around 170 million dollars. Its number of employees and medical employees make the CSSS Haut Richelieu Rouville one of the 15 most important Health care Centers in Province of Quebec.
